Sourav Ganguly plans for Bengal's future

Sourav Ganguly has huge plans

Sourav Ganguly is formulating plans for the improvement of Bengal’s performance in the upcoming Ranji season. The committee meeting which was held on Wednesday showed how Ganguly is planning about Bengal’s future. He suggested that the selectors, coach, and captain will assess the players after every two matches of the Ranji season and other domestic tournaments.

Regarding this matter, CAB joint secretary Subir Ganguly said, “The meeting will be held only if the coach wants it. If the coach feels the team is playing well and there are no issues, then there will be no need for the meeting. If Sourav finds time, he has promised that he will also attend the matches.”

Ganguly also suggested of having a pool of 25 players each for discipline – batsmen, pacers and spinners. The pool will comprise players of different age groups, from under-16 to under-25. These players will practice and stay together throughout the year.
