Sourav Ganguly - Yuvraj Singh deserves national team recall

Sourav Ganguly is pleased that Yuvraj Singh has found some form and the former India captain says that the stylish left-hander deserves a comeback into the national team squad.

“It’s really great to see him bat in full flow once again. I’m not surprised that he’s back again. He has 200 per cent chance to make a return,” Ganguly said.

The national selectors are set to meet on September 30th to select India’s squad for the upcoming ODI series at home against Australia.

“The middle-order must have Yuvraj Singh. With due respect to Dinesh Karthik, I think Yuvraj is a more deserving No 4 batsman,” Ganguly added.

India A, led by Yuvraj, lost an unofficial three-match ODI series against West Indies A but Yuvraj himself scored a whirlwind 89-ball 123 in the series opener and then followed it up with scored of 40 and 61 in the next two matches.
