Murali Vijay scored an unbeaten 91, before the day came to end due to Bad Light

The 1st day of the 2nd Test match between South Africa and India has been called off due to bad light. India finish day 1 with 181/1 including half centuries from Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara. India were dominating in the little over two sessions of play today. Shikhar Dhawan went after a steady start of a Morkel deliver, caught at slips. Vijay and Pujara kept their cool and played their shots on the bad deliveries to end the day with India well on top.
