South Africa vs Australia 2018: Kagiso Rabada reported for conduct breach once again
South African pacer Kagiso Rabada seems to be sliding further into trouble after he was reported for indiscipline, for the second time in the ongoing Port Elizabeth Test, for his celebration after taking the wicket of David Warner in the second innings.
The 22-year-old was charged with a Level 1 offence on the third day of the Test against Australia, the day he was battling with another, much serious issue of having made physical contact with Steven Smith in his send-off during the first innings of the Test.
Rabada is already under the cloud of being handed a two-Test ban, which will be triggered if his count of demerit points reaches eight. The shoulder push that he made with Smith could itself award him two to three demerit points. His current tally stands at five.
The ICC tweeted out about the incident during the fourth day's play, adding that Rabada is yet to respond to the freshly made charges.
If Rabada is found to be an offender for both the incidents, he will at least get to nine demerit points, with a total of twelve points (or six suspension points) potentially resulting in him missing as many as three Tests.
The pacer will be carrying at least three of the points that he currently has with him until January 2019, with demerit points featuring in a player's record for twelve months.
