The third Test between South Africa and Australia is turning out to be a tightly contested affair. The Proteas, who began the day with 266 runs on the board with the loss of eight wickets managed to add on another 45 runs to their total, with Dean Elgar carrying his bat through the innings as he remained unbeaten on 141. Nathan Lyon picked up both the wickets in the morning to dismiss South Africa for 311.

In reply, the Australian openers came out with a clear intention to attack the opposition bowlers from the beginning. of the innings.

David Warner, who is known to be aggressive, came out all guns blazing as he took Vernon Philander and Kagiso Rabada to the cleaners, smashing five boundaries on the trot. After hitting a four and a six off Rabada in the fifth over of the match, the South African pacers came up with a peach of a delivery to send Warner's off-stump flying.

As he walked back to the pavilion, one of the South African fans said something to him, which made him turn around. Warner was clearly unimpressed with what the fan had to say and began to argue with the elderly gentleman. The two seemed to be arguing about something until Warner went up the entire flight of stairs and into the dressing room.

Warner has already been involved in a few controversies this series, the first one being the altercation with Quinton de Kock in the first Test of the match. He has showcased his aggressive nature throughout the series as well, involved in a lot of sledging against the South African cricketers on a number of occasions.

Warner has scored 185 runs in the series so far at an average of 37 with two half-centuries to his name.
