South Africa vs India 2018, 2nd Test, Day 5: 5 things we learnt from the day

2nd Sunfoil Test: South Africa v India, Day 4
India succumbed to a much anticipated series loss on day 5 of the second Test

Constantly harried and persistently attacked, India succumbed to yet another series loss outside the sub-continent, this time the 21-year-old Lungi Ngidi pivotal in India's collapse on a very 'Indian' pitch at Supersport Park in Centurion. At 35/3, India were down and out of the contest by stumps yesterday, but the presence of Pujara gave them hope.

That didn't last long, as the no.3 was run-out for a second time in the Test and Ngidi scythed through the remaining batting, with Rohit Sharma belatedly showcasing some intent to push his case for the third Test. In the end, Ngidi's 6/39 was too good for the Indian batting.
