2nd T20I Stats: Yuzvendra Chahal, Rohit Sharma create unwanted records
A rain-truncated game affected India's momentum severely, as South Africa managed to break their winless streak with a victory to keep the series alive. JP Duminy smashed Jaydev Unadkat for a six to drag the series to Cape Town after a hapless Indian bowling performance failed to defend a competitive 189, built on the heroics of Manish Pandey and MS Dhoni.
Here are all the numbers from the second T20I:
0 - It was only the second instance when zero runs were scored in the first over of an Indian innings in a T20I. Shikhar Dhawan played out a maiden off Chris Morris.
The first time this happened was when KL Rahul faced Tendai Chatara during India's tour of Zimbabwe in 2016.
1 - MS Dhoni's fifty off 27 balls is the joint-fastest by an Indian batsman against South Africa in T20Is. Shikhar Dhawan scored a fifty off the same number of deliveries in the opening T20I of the series.
2 - MS Dhoni scored the second highest numbers of runs by an Indian batsman in the last two overs of a T20I innings.
