It's time for the eliminator where Sunrisers Hyderabad lock horns with Kolkata Knight Riders yet again after their league match on Sunday, but this time in Delhi. Feroz Shah Kotla will witness this high-octane clash between these two wonderful sides as they fight for supremacy in a bid to play the second qualifier. The team that wins here stays alive to play the loser of the Gujarat-RCB tie. Needless to say, the team that loses here gets eliminated.

SRH were looking really good at one stage to qualify in the top two but they have squandered their opportunity by losing their last two games. KKR, on the other hand, have done well to reach the playoffs and the two times IPL champions will have one eye on the coveted trophy but they know that they have to play out of their skins to go past Hyderabad.
Kolkata, however, start favourites as they would be a confident bunch after beating the Sunrisers in their home and away games in the league stage.
Venue: Feroz Shah Kotla, New Delhi
Match date: May 25, 2016
Match timings: 2000 hrs IST
If Sunrisers Hyderabad bat first
Predicted score: 155 and above
The Sunrisers have lost their way a bit if their previous couple of games are any indication. Shikhar Dhawan came good in the previous tie against KKR and he would want to continue his good form with his skipper David Warner, who is due for a big score after missing out in the last game.
They tinkered with the batting order a bit in the last game sending Naman Ojha at no. 3 and asking Kane Williamson and Deepak Hooda to bat in the middle. One can expect the Kiwi skipper to come back to his customary no. 3 position followed by Yuvraj Singh. The top order of Hyderabad would want to score the bulk of runs for their side and can leave the job of finishing to the likes of Moises Henriques and Deepak Hooda.
The bowling has looked good even though they lost their senior bowler Ashish Nehra to injury. Bhuvneshwar Kumar will be expected to share the new ball with Barinder Sran. Expect Bhuvi to trouble Gambhir with his inswingers moving away from the southpaw.
The Delhi wicket should aid spinners and Karn Sharma's wrist spin should come into play. Expect Yuvi and Hooda to chip in with a couple of overs as well. The Fizz, Mustafizur Rahman, has fizzled out a bit in the last few games. The Sunrisers will hope that their impact bowler provides the killer blows at the back end of the innings.
If Kolkata Knight Riders bat first
Predicted Score: 165 and above
KKR skipper, Gautam Gambhir who is also the local boy would know these conditions better than anyone else. Robin Uthappa would be disappointed to have missed out on a berth in India's team to Zimbabwe and would want to challenge the selector's decisions by playing an innings of substance.
It will be interesting to see whether Russell will be fit for this tie. If not, Jason Holder should get a game. Colin Munro, the Kiwi left-hander, might continue to bat at no. 3. The rest of the batting comprises a battery of Indian talents like Manish Pandey, Suryakumar Yadav, and the veteran Yusuf Pathan. Shakib and Holder will be expected to throw the kitchen sink in the death overs.
The bowling was impressive in the last game with Kuldeep Yadav added to the mix. Kuldeep, Narine, and Shakib will be expected to do the bulk of the damage for KKR. Narine vs Yuvraj should be a fantastic contest.
Ankit Rajpoot, the talented fast bowler, will share the new ball with Jason Holder. Yusuf Pathan may be asked to roll his arm over if push comes to shove. On current form expect the Knight Riders to come good in this all important eliminator against the Sunrisers.
Probable winner: Kolkata Knight Riders
