Over-dependence of Rohit Sharma is starting to show up for men in blue who failed to mount a decent total batting first to trouble the opposition finishing in the losing side, despite a brilliant performance by a young rookie Mayank Markande bagging four wickets for just 23 runs.

The SRH fielders did not have a good day in the office

T20 teams around the world are always built with power hitters and utility all rounders where they look to win it with the bat in the first place and bowling always comes second in regard to preference.

Sunrisers Hyderabad is a notable exception to that custom where the emphasis is given to bowling and fielding.

It was no different today except for the catching where they dropped two relatively easy ones. Deepak Hooda and Sandeep Sharma were the two culprits who gave lifelines to Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan respectively.

Thankfully both of the drops didn’t cost them much as they accepted didn’t repeat the mistakes and caught the next ones without giving away many.
