Sri Lanka unveil new jersey for limited overs cricket
Sri Lankan batsman Dinesh Chandimal revealed Sri Lanka’s new jersey for limited overs cricket on micro-blogging website Twitter.
The new jersey, as shown above, has white spacing in between the blue that has dominated Sri Lankan cricketing gear over the years. There is also a shade of yellow in the top half of the jersey. The jersey has received mixed reviews from fans so far, with some pleased with the changes while others feel the jersey is ruined by the use of multiple colours.
The Islanders will sport the field with the new jersey when they face off against South Africa this Sunday in the first ODI of their three-match ODI series. The Lankans will be hoping to build on their success from the England tour, where they won the T20I, ODI and Test series.
