Stats: AB de Villiers breaks record for 50's in most consecutive Test matches

AB de Villiers has broken the record for half centuries in 12 consecutive Test matches, beating West Indian great Vivian Richards, and Indian opener Gautam Gambhir‘s joint record of 11. The right hander achieved this featon the first day of the second Test between Australia and South Africa, and is currently unbeaten on 51.
