Stats: Batsmen who've scored most Test centuries before the age of 24
New Zealand’s 23-year-old Kane Williamson scored his 6th Test hundred yesterday on the 1st day of the 1st Test against West Indies at Kingston. It was a gritty knock after the slow start New Zealand made against the West Indies spinners earlier in the day, but took the visitors to a position of strength at the stumps, with score at 240/2 after Day 1.
Williamson joined an elite list of players who’ve hit 6 or more hundreds in Test cricket before their 24th birthday, a list headed by Sir Don Bradman, who had scored 12 before he turned 24. Sachin Tendulkar comes next on the list with 11 hundreds to his name before his 24th birthday.
