Stats: Bowlers with most Test wickets in India-England matches
Here is a list of bowlers who have taken the most number of wickets in the Test matches between India and England. Former Indian spinner Bhagwath Chandrasekhar is at the top of the list with 95 wickets in 23 matches. The next two spots are occupied by spinners, as well: Anil Kumble and Bishan Bedi.
England’s incompetence against spin bowling on the Indian wickets seems to have played a part in the numbers on display here. Of the 5 Indian players, only one happens to be a fast bowler: Kapil Dev, who is at the 4th spot.
