Stats: Taylor's maiden ODI century helps England to its 50th win over Australia in ODIs

England defeated Australia in the third match of the ODI series to bring themselves back into contention after losing the first two matches. Here are a few interesting stats which emerged from the encounter at Old Trafford today. 

50 - number of wins for England against Australia in ODIs. Australia have won 79 ODI matches against England.

93 - runs by which England won against Australia today –  the 4th highest margin by runs for England at Old Trafford, Manchester, and 4th highest against Australia in all ODIs. It is their highest win by runs against the Aussies in the last 25 years.

- number of boundaries struck by James Taylor in his century, the lowest number of boundaries for an Englishmen in ODIs for 100 plus scores. Previous lowest were 6 boundaries struck by Paul Collingwood, Graeme Hick, Jonathan Trott and David Gower.

101 - runs scored by James Taylor today, his first century and highest individual score in ODIs. His earlier best was 98* against the same opposition at Melbourne in the 2015 World Cup game.
