Stats: England vs Pakistan 3rd T20- Dozen First Ball Wickets and Half Dozen Super Overs

Malik's impressive knock ultimately went in vain

England completed a clean sweep of the T20 series against Pakistan after their Super Over win in the third and final T20. After both teams were tied on 154, the match went to a super over, where England knocked off the four runs they needed, with relative ease.

Here are some of the stats from the game. 

Dozen – Number of Bowlers now in T20I cricket to have taken wicket on the first ball of their career, Aamir Yamin became the 12th man and first Pakistani to do so, when he took the wicket of Jason Roy in this match.

Half-Dozen – Number of Super Over finishes T20 International Cricket has seen now- the previous super over finish came in World T20 Match between West Indies and New Zealand in 2012.

0 – Number of Times before this one, when Pakistani Pacers conceded 250 Plus runs in a three-match T20I series. In this series, they conceded 362 runs, 119 more than their previous worst of 243 vs New Zealand in 2011. Their economy 8.61 is also the worst for them in a three-match series

0.769 – the Win/Loss ratio for Pakistan in T20Is played in UAE- worst for them in any country with at least 4 matches. Pakistan's win/loss ratio in England, Sri Lanka and South Africa is 2.00, 2.66 and 2.33- much better than the one in their adopted home. In UAE, their test win/loss ratio is 2.60.

3 – Number of times prior to this series that Pakistan have been whitewashed in a bilateral T20 Series of 2 or more matches. This was 4th such instance and 2nd against England. Interestingly, all four instances have come in UAE.

479 – Runs conceded by Pakistan in this series, which are the most they have conceded in a bilateral series surpassing previous worst of 404 which also came against England in 2011/12.
