Australian pair of Adam Gilchrist and Shaun Marsh hold the record for the highest partnership, for any wicket, in Twenty20 cricket; they combined to score 206 runs for the second wicket against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2011 edition of the Indian Premier League.
Following them is another IPL entry: Chris Gayle and Virat Kohli’s 204 for the second wicket against Delhi Daredevils in IPL 2012.
