But who has been the most prolific scorer in the 21st century? Since 2000, the turn of century, who has been the highest run-scorer in Test cricket?
Sri Lankan giant Kumar Sangakkara emerges the frontrunner here, with almost 12000 runs at a stupendous average of 58.76, followed closely by the South African colossal Jacques Kallis who accumulated 11440 runs at 58.66.
