In the emphatic victory over England at Birmingham, Ajinkya Rahane and Shikhar Dhawan were involved in India’s first 100-run partnership overseas in more than a year.
The last time an Indian opening partnership scored 100 or more runs away from home, was in July 2013, when Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan stitched a 123-run partnership in Port of Spain against West Indies.
