Stats: Latest ICC ODI rankings for batsmen
AB de Villiers retains the top position in the ICC ODI rankings for batsmen with a rating of 872.
India’s Virat Kohli, who is just below de Villiers, has gained 11 rating points to reach 870. He scored a total of 291 runs against New Zealand in the just concluded 5-match series. Kohli has a chance to beat the South African and grab the top position as South Africa are not scheduled to play ODI matches in the near future.
Ross Taylor has climbed up six spots to reach the 10th position courtesy of his terrific performances against India recently. Taylor was the second highest run-getter in the series, with 343 runs from five matches.
Another Kiwi batsmanĀ Kane Williamson, riding high on the back of his record 5-consecutive ODI half-centuries, roseĀ 20 places to reach the 11th spot. It also happens to be his best ever ranking. He is tied at the 11th position with India’s Shikhar Dhawan, both of whom have 688 rating points.
