Stats: Most hundreds in consecutive international matches from debut
There are only five batsmen in the history of cricket who have scored centuries in consecutive international matches from debut. What is quite astonishing is the fact that such a feat has never been achieved in One Day International cricket, and all such occurrences have happened in the longer format of the game, not more than twice.
There is only one Indian entry in the list: Mohammad Azharuddin, who went on to represent India in 433 matches before being banned from the game for his alleged involvement in match-fixing while playing for the national team.
