Stats: Most number of ducks in an ODI match

There is only one instance of an ODI match in which eight batsmen from either sides were dismissed for a duck

Here is a list of matches in which most number of batsmen from either sides have been dismissed for a duck. As astonishing as it may sound, there is only one instance of eight batsmen being dismissed for a nought in the history of One-Day International cricket- the match between England and West Indies in 1979 – which also happens to be the highest ever.

Although there were seven other matches that came so close to levelling the record in the years that followed, all of them fell short by one less duck.
