Stats: MS Dhoni could become India's most successful ODI captain

There are pretty good chances that after becoming the most successful skipper in the Test cricket, MS Dhoni might attain the status of the most successful Indian captain in ODIs as well.

It is pertinent to add that so far Mohammad Azharuddin has played 174 matches as a captain, out of which he had won 90 matches. A couple of matches matches were tied and six ended with no result.

Dhoni, as a captain, has so far won 88 out of 154 matches. Three matches were tied, whereas 10 matches ended with no result.

Dhoni will overtake Azharuddin, if he wins 3 more matches.
