Stats preview: England vs Pakistan 2016, who will break his own record - Alastair Cook or Misbah-ul-Haq?

Mohammad Amir would like to make an impact straightaway on his Test return

England hope to build on their recent success by winning the upcoming Test series against Pakistan which will start from 14 July 2016. England made a solid start to their journey after the 2016 World T20 by winning all the three series against Sri Lanka recently. On the other end, Pakistan will play their first Test series in 2016.

With four Tests looming in the first leg of the challenging tour, Pakistan will be seeking to make a great start from the first Test itself which will be played at Lord's in London. Pakistan will be strengthened by the return of pace bowler Mohammad Amir, who played his last Test series in England in 2010.

Here's a complete statistical preview of the upcoming Test series:

One thing that can work in Pakistan’s favour though is their record against England in Tests recently. They have won 18 out of 37 Tests played overseas in the last five years – a win percentage of nearly 50. And the Kennington Oval in London is a happy hunting ground for Pakistan as they have won 4 out of 9 Tests played here. Among all grounds, Lord’s in London is the second best for Pakistan after the Kennington Oval.
