Stats: List of tied matches in Twenty20 Internationals
Following the first T20 international game that happened on 17 February 2005 between Australia and New Zealand, at Eden Park in Auckland, the format has seen 8 tied matches in total. The first one exactly one year since its inauguration, i.e., on 16 February 2006 between New Zealand and West Indies. The 2007 World Cup match between India and Pakistan, which saw India winning the match on the basis of a bowl-out, was the second ever tied match in T20 internationals.
Among the ten Test-playing nations with permanent T20I status, only England and Bangladesh have never been involved in a tied match.
