Stats: Top 10 Asian bowlers with most Test wickets outside Asia
Here is a list of Asian bowlers who have taken the most number of Test wickets outside the subcontinent. Having taken 200 wickets in 50 matches, legendary Indian spinner Anil Kumble, who is known for his ability to extract bounce from decks, tops the list. While it is partially due to the number of matches played being higher than his counterparts, what cannot be overseen is the fact that the leggie bowled mostly in non-responsive tracks and that he has done so while playing for a team that hardly competed in a Test match overseas for a better part of his career.
Bishan Singh Bedi, Zaheer Khan, Kapil Dev and Harbhajan Singh are the four other Indian bowlers who have made it to the list, which also has the likes of Wasim Akram, Imran Khan, Muttiah Muralitharan, Chaminda Vaas and Waqar Younis.
