Stats: Top 10 Indian bowlers with most wickets in T20Is
As Virat Kohli went past Yuvraj Singh’s record of most T20 runs for India in the match against England on Sunday, Ravindra Jadeja moved up to No.8 in the list of Indian bowlers with most international T20 wickets.
Irfan Pathan is still the surprise leader of the list with 28 wickets from 24 matches while Ravichandran Ashwin, who went wicketless at Edgbaston, is at second place with 25 scalps from 26 outings. Another surprise entry in the list is Bengal pacer Ashok Dinda, with a high economy rate, though. The right-arm seamer has picked up 17 wickets from just 9 matches at an astonishing strike rate of 10.5.
All-rounder Yuvraj Singh lies third in the table and has 23 wickets to his name from 22 innings that underlines his value to the side. Among the current set of bowlers, only two spinners – Ashwin and Jadeja find themselves in the top 10.
