The highest partnership in Test cricket in 2013 was between, Murali Vijay and Cheteshwar Pujara of 370 runs in the second wicket. It was the second Test match between India and Australia in the Border-Gavaskar trophy, played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.
In the match, these two joined after the early dismissal of Virender Sehwag, when Indian score was just 17. Then Vijay and Pujara put on the 370 run partnership from 117.4 overs. Cheteshwar Pujara went on to make a double century(204) and Murali Vijay played an innings of 167 runs.
India went on to win the match by an innings and 135 runs and Cheteshwar Pujara was awarded the Man of the Match for this brilliant knock.
The second highest partnership in Test cricket in 2013 was between, Graeme Smith and AB de Villiers of South Africa of 338 runs for the 5th wicket against Pakistan in the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
