Australia won the toss and opted to bowl first in the second match of the tri-nation series against the West Indies at Guyana and Mitchell Starc, the man making his ODI comeback for Australia after an injury, provided the breakthrough in his very first over.

Darren Bravo and Johnson Charles tried to settle in for the Windies and after spending a decent time on the wicket, they threw their wicket away. No other Windies batsman tried to play cautiously on a spin-friendly wicket and as a result, the side were bowled out for 116.

In reply, both David Warner and Aaron Finch played with responsibility and by the time Finch got out, he made sure that Australia cannot lose the game and with the help of the in-form David Warner, Australia managed to chase down the target with almost 25 overs remaining in their innings.
