Super League Group A

Haryana topped the Super League Group A with 12 points, followed by Rajasthan with eight points while Maharashtra lost their opportunity due to an inferior net run-rate. Haryana, led by former India leg-spinner Amit Mishra, won three out of its four matches to top Super League Group A. They lost their only game against Maharashtra in their final group game by a fine margin of two runs. The win against Haryana didn’t help Maharashtra’s cause as Haryana marched forward with a better net run-rate.

Super League Group B

In Super League Group B, Tamil Nadu edged past Karnataka to be ranked top of the table with a better net run-rate. Tamil Nadu were followed closely by arch-rivals Karnataka with the exact number of points but with a lesser net run-rate. Tamil Nadu lost their only match to Karnataka by nine wickets and 22 balls remaining. Karnataka, on the other hand, owes a lot to Punjab for a semi-final spot. Mumbai needed to restrict Punjab below 150 runs in Punjab’s chase of 244 runs. However, Shubman Gill scored a quickfire 38-ball 78 to help overhaul the 150-run mark and dismiss any hopes of Mumbai qualifying for the semi-finals. Prithvi Shaw, Shreyas Iyer, and Suryakumar Yadav scored half-centuries but those weren’t enough to take Mumbai to the last four.

When and where to watch
