Team India's schedule after the 2024 T20 World Cup: List of matches, dates, venues and timings in IST
India beat South Africa by seven runs in the Men's 2024 T20 World Cup final to clinch their first ICC trophy in 11 years and win their first World Cup title since emerging triumphant in the ODI edition in 2011 at home. The World Test Championship (WTC) remains the only ICC crown they haven't won, although they have reached the finals in both editions played so far.
The Men in Blue were unbeaten in the 2024 T20 World Cup, becoming the first team to win the tournament without losing a game. Team India won their first three group matches, while the fourth game was abandoned due to wet outfield. In the Super 8 round, they got the better of Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Australia before defeating England and South Africa in the semifinal and final, respectively.
After a delay of a few days due to a hurricane in Barbados, the Indian team arrived in Delhi on Thursday, July 4. They took part in a memorable victory celebration in Mumbai, with a sea of fans in attendance. It won’t be long before it is business as usual for the Men in Blue. India tour of Zimbabwe: July 2024
An Indian team, led by Shubman Gill, is already in Zimbabwe for a five-match T20I series, which will be played from July 6 to 14. This will be Team India's first assignment after the 2024 T20 World Cup triumph.
