Thanks to a news reporter's goof ups, TV Channel ANN7 becomes the talk of the town in South Africa

Going live only the day before, TV station ANN7 has already become the talk of the town in South Africa. Unfortunately, it is making waves for all the wrong reasons though.

One of their news anchors’ inept news reading abilities has caused plenty of embarrassment for the channel. She made a lot of bloopers in the channel’s 50-second report on the first day’s play of the fifth Ashes Test at The Oval, England.

The news anchor goofed up with sentences like ‘James Anderson found some swing in the ball’, ‘Young prospect Chris Rogers (who is actually 36 years old)’ and ‘Watson bullied his… his… to only the third Test of the century’.

She also pronounced Michael Clarke as ‘Captain Michelle Clarke’ and read ‘Anderson sitting at figures of 2/52′.

Here is the video of the news report.
