Three uncapped players in West Indies women's squad
St. John's (Antigua), Aug 27 (IANS/CMC) Three uncapped players have been named in the West Indies women cricketers squad which will undergo a training camp from Wednesday onwards ahead of their home series against New Zealand.
Shamilia Connell, Hayley Matthew and Jodian Morgan will train with the squad until September 8 in Barbados and St. Kitts. Connell is a quick bowler from Barbados. Matthew also plays for Barbados as an off-spinning all-rounder and specialist bat Morgan plays for Jamaica, reports CMC.
The West Indies and New Zealand will play four One-Day Internationals (ODI), the first three being part of the ongoing ICC Women's Championship, on September 12, 14, 17 and 19. The series will be followed by three Twenty20 Internationals on September 23, 25 and 27.
