After two days of disappointment, the fourth day of the second Test between India and Bangladesh at Kanpur provided brilliant action. The longest format is not known to be fast-paced but the Indian team was in a mood to play attacking cricket in their attempt to try and push for a result.

#5 ENG vs PAK 2022
During the third Test of England's tour to Pakistan in 2022 at Karachi, the visitors went out all guns blazing in their second innings, which was also the final innings of the game.
Set a target of 167 runs to win the game, England made light work, getting past the finish line with ease and in no time. Showing no mercy, their openers scored runs at a quick pace.
Ben Duckett remained unbeaten on 82 off just 78 deliveries while Zak Crawley (41 off 41) and Ben Stokes (35* off 43) were the other contributors as they got to 100 runs in just 13.4 overs, eventually winning the game in 28.1 overs.
#4 BAN vs WI 2012
The West Indies toured Bangladesh in 2012. In the opening Test at Mirpur, West Indies posted a huge total of 527/4 declared in their first innings. Bangladesh came fighting hard in response, scoring 556 runs.
Tamim Iqbal got the team off to a strong start, scoring 72 runs off just 71 deliveries. While Bangladesh did lose two wickets, they got past the 100-run mark in quick time, taking only 13.4 overs to do so.

Sri Lanka registered a massive victory over Bangladesh in the second Test at Colombo in 2001. They first skittled the visitors out for a paltry total of just 90 runs.
Coming out to bat, the side made sure that they batted only once and batted Bangladesh out of the game as well, piling on a massive total of 555/5 declared. While Marvin Atapattu struck a brilliant 201, it was Sanath Jayasuriya who scored quick runs at the other end.
Jayasuriya scored 89 runs off just 56 deliveries as Sri Lanka got to the 100-run mark in just 13.1 overs.

Previously, this record was held by India when they achieved it against the West Indies in 2023 during the second Test at Port of Spain.
Batting first, India posted a total of 438 in the first innings. They bowled the hosts out for 255 and then came out to bat again with the aim of scoring quick runs and setting the West Indies a target.
In their second innings, India declared at 181/2. The intention from the openers was clear as Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 38 off 30 balls while Rohit Sharma scored a 44-ball 57 as India raced to the 100-run mark in just 12.2 overs.

India bettered their own record to score the fastest team hundred in the format in the ongoing second Test against Bangladesh at Kanpur. On Day 4, India bowled Bangladesh out for 233, the hosts showed intent to score quick runs and try to push a possible result from the game.
Openers Jaiswal and Rohit came out with a clear mission and went after the bowlers right from the word go. Jaiswal smashed 72 runs off just 51 deliveries while Rohit's cameo of 23 from just 11 deliveries propelled India past the 100-mark in just 10.1 overs, bettering their own record.
