Twitter can't stop making fun of S. Sreesanth for calling Kerala a "city"
Tainted Indian pacer S. Sreesanth, who was banned from playing cricket by the BCCI in 2013 after the disciplinary committee found him guilty of spot-fixing, has been widely criticised for a gaffe on Twitter.
In his playing days, he was always in the news for his on-field aggression, funny expressions and over-the-top celebrations. His dance moves and hilarious celebrations were widely trolled by the public earlier.
The 33-year-old, who is now contesting the assembly election in Thiruvananthapuram, was also trolled last month for posting an amusing image of himself on social media during his campaign in Kerala.
The former Indian cricketer took to Twitter to share his thoughts and vision for the development of the state. He was speaking about bringing a change in Kerala but ended up calling it a “city”.
The change is must in Kerala Nd Iam sure It will happen this time..we can be worlds best city if we all work together..

However, his confusion in geography was soon cleared by Twitter users. That is bound to happen when a person does not know the difference between a state and a city.
@sreesanth36 Kerala is a state, not a city !!

After getting picked on Sreesanth went a step further and did the unthinkable on social media – he blocked a potential voter on the site.
Dear @sreesanth36, blocking a potential voter for pointing out a mistake, is not a very good idea #ProTip pic.twitter.com/dnVuiHYIdD

Although Sreesanth did try to clarify, the damage was already done.
