Twitter Q&A: Ravi Shastri talks about Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni's Test retirement

Ravi Shastri with MS Dhoni during an Indian practice session

Former Indian Team Director, Ravi Shastri had taken part in a Q&A session that was conducted by Ayaz Memon on Twitter, earlier today. Organised by Firstpost Sports, the Twitter session revealed the thought process of the 53-year-old former Indian cricketer on a number of issues including MS Dhoni's Test retirement and Virat Kohli's exceptional work ethic.

The 53-year-old was designated as the Team Director of the 'Men in Blue’ back in mid-2014. The former Indian all-rounder, thereafter, guided the current crop of Indian cricketers to a string of noteworthy performances and as a result was remunerated with an agreement that was due to end after the conclusion of the ICC World T20 2016.

With a number of rumours still circulating regarding the reinstatement of Shastri back at the helm of Indian cricket, the Mumbai man seemed quite relaxed about the proceedings, as he went on to speak his heart out without any inhibitions or so, during the aforementioned Q&A session.
