Twitter reacts as Virat Kohli becomes the all-time leading run scorer in the IPL
RCB may have lost the game against MI but Virat Kohli broke yet another record. The Indian captain overtook his national teammate, Suresh Raina and has become the highest run scorer in the history of the IPL.
Virat Kohli has now scored 4619 runs in 153 matches. He averages 38.17 runs per game with a strike rate of 130.33. He has registered 32 half-centuries in the IPL along with four centuries.
RCB is struggling this season and has won only one game out of their opening four games. Virat Kohli tried to save his team against MI and played a brilliant inning of 92 runs, but all his efforts went in vain as he didn't get the perfect partner to build the innings.
