Video: Australia bowled out for 86 against India in World Cup T20

The Australian batting effort against India, which saw them being bundled out for 86 in 16.2 overs while chasing 160, was shocking to say the least. There was no application whatsoever and that coupled with their inability to handle quality spin bowling made it a forgettable night for the batsmen and their fans alike.

David Warner, despite finding ways to counter first-class fast bowlers in Test cricket in the most challenging of conditions, still has serious issues facing up to spinners on slow and low surfaces, as has been demonstrated in the ongoing tournament.

While Watson’s miserable returns were predicted given the nature of the pitches, George Bailey’s ineptitude against spin leaves a lot to be desired, not to mention his inadequate captaincy skills.

Ravichandran Ashwin picked up 4 wickets, while Mishra accounted for Brad Hodge and Brad Haddin. Here is the video of the second innings.
