Video: Ball bounces twice and hits stumps; umpire denies dismissal
Former Australian captain Mark Taylor, while bowling in a Prime Minister’s XI game against England back in 1999, got fast bowler Angus Fraser bowled with a delivery that bounced twice before rattling the woodwork.
However, Simon Taufel, umpiring the match, called it a no ball, which Taylor, while recalling the incident years after, points out as a mistake citing the law, which suggests that a ball has to bounce more than twice for it to be called a no ball.
