Video: Brilliant umpiring by Aleem Dar - South Africa v West Indies

Aleem Dar displayed brilliant umpiring in a match between South Afrcia and West Indies. Dale Steyn was the bowler and Marlon Samuels was the batsmen. There was a loud appeal for a catch at first slip, as the ball jagged into Samuels from outside off stump. He went on the back foot but the ball followed him and hit the glove before going to first slip, where the catch was taken by AB de Villiers. Dar denied the South Africans’ appeal. Replays suggested that the hand was off the bat handle when the ball hit the glove.
