Video: David Warner spending quality time in NYC with wife and daughter after winning first IPL title
David Warner, who led from the front to guide Sunrisers Hyderabad to a maiden IPL title on Sunday, has headed back home to spend some time with his family (wife Candice Warner and daughters Indi Rae, Ivy Mae).
After being away for a stipulated two months from his beloved family, Warner is now being seen making the most of his time with his wife and kids. And, it clearly seems that the joy of winning his maiden IPL title is far less as compared to the cricketer’s reunion with his darling daughters and wife.
The SRH player shared a really heartwarming picture on Instagram of his play date with one-year-old Ivy Mae and four-month-old Indi Rae. With his wife behind the camera lens, Warner was also seen beaming and bonding with his daughters in several other snapshots.
Warner and his family had just about 24 hours to spend in NYC, the ‘city that never sleeps’, and from what we can see, the family surely made the most of their time where the extremely dedicated father opted to spend the short time in the sun with his favorite girls.
On Tuesday, Warner took to Instagram to thank India for its incredible hospitality, since he had ended up spending almost two months in South Asia.
He said, “Thanks India and @sunrisershyd for your hospitality over the past few months, I have enjoyed the time very much once again. Look forward to seeing you in Late Feb 2017 for the test series pending selection. Time for me to be with my 3 beautiful girls for a night before embarking on another series for my country. #caribbean #championsipl2016 #orangearmy”.
On another Instagram post, Warner acknowledged his team members from Sunrisers Hyderabad and talking about his win at the IPL 2016, wrote,” 'What can I say!! I am extremely proud of what we @sunrisershyd have achieved this year. The support we have had from our owners and fans has been amazing. We can't thank you all enough for helping make this possible. This is for you Hyderabad. #championsipl2016.”
Warner is now getting ready to embark on a family holiday abroad with his wife and children after having been away for almost eight weeks. The couple had previously celebrated their first wedding anniversary earlier this year.
