India’s left-arm chinaman Kuldeep Yadav took a historic hat-trick against Scotland in Dubai today, becoming the first Indian to achieve the feat in U-19 World Cup.
Kuldeep’s victims were Nick Farrar (0), Kyle Sterling (0) and Alex Baum (5). Scotland were all out for 88, and India won the match by 5 wickets after a mini collapse of their own, chasing the target in the 23rd over.
Fun fact: Did you know Kuldeep Yadav had initially started his career as a fast bowler, but switched to spin on the advice of his coach Kapil Pandey?
