SOUNDBITE (English) Misbah ul Haq, Captain, Pakistan:
“I think both the teams know each other very well. The strategies, the players, everybody is aware of that. I think we did well in ODI’s especially in South Africa, so players are in good confidence against them. I think it will be a good contest if we play up to our potential we have a good chance.”
SOUNDBITE (Urdu) Misbah ul Haq, Captain, Pakistan:
“I think you can only play well when as a player or as a batsman, you start to think about yourself when you play, to try and give your best, and this is one reason that I think when you don’t score runs, you start blaming others. So that’s my message to all my players that they should look at their own game, try and find out what they need to do and in what way they can contribute to the team.”
SOUNDBITE (Urdu), Misbah ul Haq, Captain, Pakistan:
“You always need to look at the next match (after a loss) and when you have put in your one hundred per cent, no matter what the result is, it is always better for the team and for a player to look at the future. That is one way you can improve your performance, if you dwell in your past, you can’t perform well in the future.”
