Video: Piers Morgan battered, bruised and humiliated by Brett Lee

A self-confessed die-hard England cricket fan and controversial broadcaster Piers Morgan challenged retired Australian pacer Brett Lee for an over in the nets after watching the English batting line-up crumble in the ongoing Ashes so far.

Having watched the batsmen of his favourite cricket team falter against the Australian quicks, Piers Morgan had criticised them for ‘backing away’ from facing the challenge. Lee the dared Morgan to face an over from him in the nets. The 48-year-old Englishman accepted and claimed he was “about to ruin a great Australian career and legend”.

However, what transpired, was quite embarrassing for the CNN host, as he tried to move out of the line of hostile pace bowling from Lee, and was hit on the body four times in the over, lost his footing once and was finally saw his stumps fly out of the ground.
