Video: Poor bowler denied a hat-trick on debut
Pakistan’s Aamer Nazir had a dream debut when he dismissed West Indian batsmen Richie Richardson and Carl Hooper off consecutive deliveries in an ODI in 1993. He almost got a hat-trick before West Indies umpire Clyde Cumberbatch denied him a plumb LBW off the next ball. The umpire was clearly distracted by the batsman Gus Logie, who raised his bat to show an inside edge.
