Video: When Sachin Tendulkar got tackled rugby style by Michael Clarke
How’s that for a tackle! During the 2nd final of 2008 CB series in Australia, Michael Clarke found the perfect way to display his love for rugby, by tackling the great Sachin Tendulkar to ground.
Trying to stop a single after Gautam Gambhir pushed the ball to mid-on, Clarke found Tendulkar in his way and collided with him, tackling the master batsman down. Sachin, who was batting on 64 then, was all smiles as he got up. He brushed off the incident and went on to score 91. India won the match by 9 runs to win the triangular series.
