Video: That moment when Jonathan Trott took a catch with his trouser pocket
Sussex's Ed Joyce was bizarrely caught by Warwickshire's Jonathan Trott in a freak dismissal. The incident happened when left-handed Joyce attempted a powerful sweep shot and the fielder (Trott) at short-leg turned away to save himself, but the ball gets lodged into his pocket.
The incident was unbelievable to witness from naked eyes and only slow motion camera could answer the question.
Law 32 (3b): " A catch shall be considered to have been fairly made if the ball is hugged to the body of the catcher or accidentally lodges in his clothing..."
