The match, which is being called the ‘Celebrity Clasico 2016′ will take place at the Mumbai Football Arena, Andheri Sports Complex, on Saturday, June 4 with an inherent objective of generating funds for the foundations’ charitable initiatives.

Kohli alongside MS Dhoni will take on All Stars Football Club, which features the likes Ranbir Kapoor, Siddharth Malhotra, Arjun Kapoor and is led by Abhishek Bachchan. Kohli, apart from being a superstar in his own profession, is known for being a football fan as well. Earlier, Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane had praised Kohli for his outstanding performance against Australia in the T20 World Cup 2016.

As the whole world has witnessed, Virat Kohli has recently been in the news for all sorts of things: whether it is his astonishing 973 runs from 16 games or his celebrations with cricketer Chris Gayle, dancing to the mesmerizing steps of Bhangra. However, his outstanding performance in the IPL, where he became the highest run-scorer in a single IPL campaign, couldn’t guide his team RCB to their maiden IPL title, and the Sunrisers Hyderabad beat them by 8 runs in the final.

The Indian stalwart has been given a break from the sport for the upcoming tour to Zimbabwe after having played each and every match since the Asia Cup 2016. He will next be seen in India’s tour to West Indies where he will be leading the team.

Apart from Kohli and Dhoni, some of the country’s top cricketers like Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh, Yuvraj Singh, Ajinkya Rahane, R Ashwin and Ajinkya Rahane will be playing in this match as well.
