Video: Watch Joe Root and Ben Stokes playing street cricket in London
In an interesting couple of videos that have surfaced today, England cricket stars Ben Stokes and Joe Root are seen playing cricket in Carnaby Street, London. Joe Root has retweeted both the videos from his official Twitter handle.
Both the England stars seemed to be in a jovial and relaxed mood having gone back home after a long, hectic World T20 campaign in India. England surprised one and all by making it to the final where they ultimately lost to the West Indies.
In the first video, Stokes is seen bowling to Root. Root judges the ball outside the off-stump and lets it go to a collective gasp from the people standing all around them.

Joe Root was one of the stars of the show and a strong contender for the Man of the Tournament though he ultimately lost out to Virat Kohli. Ben Stokes who was left in tears after Carlos Brathwaite slammed him for four huge sixes off the last over in the final at Eden Gardens, Kolkata now seems to have put that disappointment behind him.

Second video is a far more eventful one
Root who is now bowling to Stokes produces a great delivery that goes through his defence and castles him. Amidst the palpable euphoria from the audience surrounding them, Root breaks into a jubilant celebration that sees him run past Stokes down the alley and disappear round the corner.
Root has shared this video on his Twitter handle with the caption "It's taken me 14 years to get you out but well worth it!"
