Vinod Kambli does it again. It seems that nowadays whatever Vinod Kambli does, it lands him in unfamiliar territory.

A simple joke made on twitter by the former left-hander landed him in a situation where he had to literally fight his way out of it.

The PCB has been going through a rough phase after a mediocre performance by Pakistan at the recently concluded World T20. Shahid Afridi and Waqar Younis both stepped down from their positions as captain and coach.

To add to the woes, things went from bad to worse recently when the PCB faced tremendous humiliation when they were trolled mercilessly after they had floated a coach requirement advertisement on Twitter.

Vinod Kambli found this to be a window of opportunity to make something out of it in the social media.

Kambli, who is very active on social media thought he would just be another addition to the list of people who are mocking the Pak board.

Kambli tweeted to Asma Shiraz, a Pakistani journalist that he is ready to fill in Waqar's boots. "@asmashirazi. SalamAlekhum Asma ji.I heard PCB is looking for a Head coach .I am " Available"," read his post on twitter.

Shiraz replied to him with thumbs up emoticon.

A Twitter user named Azeem Asim Mughal, however, decided to have a go at Kambli. He tagged both Shiraz and Kambli in a tweet and wrote, "@asmashirazi @vinodkambli349 For team doesn't come to pay in Pakistan. How will you manage to come and live in a 'dangerous' country???"

Although taken aback at the satire, Kambli took his time and came up with a humorous reply to this tweet saying, "Bhaijaan Salam. Mein berojghaar nahin hoon.Agar wasim Akram IPL mein coach ban sakte hai toh mein Q nahin#PCB".
