Virender Sehwag continues to entertain on Twitter by wishing Kane Williamson on his birthday

Kane Williamson in action against Zimbabwe

Virender Sehwag seems to entertain the sports fraternity as frequent as possible, just a day after posting a funny tweet on the occasion of friendship day; the “Nawab of Najafgarh” did not forget to wish New Zealand batsman Kane Williamson on his special day. The two-time triple centurion from India had sent his regards to various sports personalities in the past month including former speedster Dennis Lillee and England pacer James Anderson. Williamson has a pretty impressive ODI record having scored 3,666 runs in just 93 matches including 7 centuries.

New Zealand captain Kane Williamson set a new world record yesterday during their Test match against Zimbabwe on becoming the youngest cricketer to score Test centuries against each Test playing nations. Having won the first Test with ease the Kiwis put up a massive total of 582 runs by the virtue of three centurions Tom Latham, Kane Williamson and Ross Taylor.

Williamson, who turned 26 today scored 113 runs, added more weight to his glittering career. Last year, he was the second highest run-scorer for the calendar year in One-Day Internationals only behind country mate Martin Guptill.

Before Williamson, former Sri Lankan wicket-keeper Kumar Sangakkara held this particular record achieving the feat when he was 30 years of age. It is needless to say that only the players who have taken up Test cricket after Bangladesh was given Test status back in 2000 have got the opportunity to score centuries against all the other Test-playing nations.

The other players to have completed the feat are Steve Waugh, Ricky Ponting, Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Brian Lara,  Younis Khan, Marvan Atapattu,  Jacques Kallis, Adam Gilchrist and Mahela Jayawardene.
